DESCRIPTION:Enhance your SIOP Model knowledge to support delivery of effective professional development workshops at your school. \nTake your expertise in the CAL SIOP Model to the next level and gain the tools to lead high-quality professional development in your school or district. This interactive\, cohort-based virtual institute is designed for educators with a solid foundation in CAL SIOP who are ready to become facilitators and trainers. \nBuilding on your previous knowledge and experience\, this institute focuses on strengthening your understanding of the eight components of the CAL SIOP Model while equipping you with essential training and coaching skills to guide colleagues in implementing sheltered instruction. \nUsing a flipped classroom approach\, participants will engage in four live\, 4.5-hour online sessions and complete facilitator-assigned self-paced activities between meetings. The cost is $495. Participants must attend all workshop days and complete an assignment to be distributed during the institute.
