Online Education
Online Courses at CAL
The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) offers a growing selection of self-paced online courses designed to support educators in building knowledge and practical strategies for multilingual learner success. Drawing on decades of research in language acquisition and extensive experience partnering with schools, each course provides:
A clear introduction to the research base of the topic
Evidence-based strategies to strengthen instruction
Practical tools educators can apply directly in their classrooms
Courses are affordable, flexible, and can be completed at your own pace. Upon successful completion, participants receive a CAL Digital Badge, which may qualify for continuing education credits through your school or district.
For schools and districts, CAL offers tiered pricing for groups of 10 or more educators. To learn more about group enrollment options, contact CAL’s Online Learning Team at onlinelearning@cal.org.
